Life Experiences
One of the biggest challenges of my life is autoimmune disease,
which began at age 20. I've spent decades studying alternative
medicine and adjusting my diet and lifestyle to be as healthy as
understanding for the suffering of all human beings.
I've been an avid gardener for many years, and I'm the owner of Diane's Flower Seeds. Being close to nature is essential for my health, happiness and spiritual development.
I raised three children and homeschooled them. They are now happy, successful adults, and I'm very proud of them. I went through a painful divorce after the kids left home. Then I entered the coaching academy and became a life coach. Four years later, I met my current husband, who is a very kind man.
After 10 years of working with clients, I realized that most New Age self-help modalities are an endless hamster wheel of efforting and going nowhere. I came across the work of Doreen Virtue, Warren B. Smith and Angela Scafidi. After considering their perspectives, I decided to leave behind New Age practices and focus on Jesus Christ. My life is much more peaceful and happy now.
Life Coaching
The main premise of my coaching is that awareness is the key to everything. With enough awareness, you will no longer be a victim of random negative thoughts and feelings. You will have more control over how you think and act.
You will also see yourself more clearly, which can be painful. This is why I emphasize self-compassion. Learning to forgive yourself and process your emotions will make your spiritual journey easier.
My current focus is providing support for people who want to leave behind New Age practices and focus on Jesus Christ. But I have worked with people from many different religious backgrounds, and I respect each person's individual journey.
